Network & Security Engineer

Our client is looking to expand the Network and Security team and is looking for an Engineer to join the team. The Network & Security team is responsible for delivering solutions to clients, taking care of gathering requirements, proposing design, deploying solutions and aiding the customer with support. The ideal candidate will have an interest to learn new technologies, and delve deep into any technical issue, even if it my not be related just to networking.

Responsibilities:

Gather requirements from clients

Design wired and wireless networks

Implement and support wired and wireless networks

Troubleshoot issues with network connectivity

Manage firewall configuration, security policies, initial configuration of firewalls

Design, Implement and support Access Management and Load Balancing on F5 load balancers

Design Implement and support Network Access Control systems.

Network Monitoring

Requirements:

CCNA level knowledge of Networking

Proficient use of the English Language

Able to work on own initiative while still able to coordinate with other team members

Excellent troubleshooting skills

Able to communicate clearly via diagrams and produce clear documentation

Comfortable with Dynamic Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)

Experience with firewall and security policy management

Knowledge of networking and application protocol (SSL, HTTP, DNS, SSH etc.)

Nice to have:

University Degree in a relevant subject

CCNP level knowledge of Networking

Experience with any scripting language

Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Associate (PCCSA)

Experience with 802.1x, Enterprise Wireless Design, Deployment and Maintenance

Familiarity with Linux

Familiarity with Network Management/Monitoring systems

Familiarity with Wireshark

Familiarity with Load Balancing and Application Delivery
