General Description:

Searching for a Scala Developer with strong problem solving skills and solid CS fundamentals.

To be successful you need: 

• Working experience developing in Scala Preferred
• Candidates with experience programming with Haskell, F# or similar functional programming languages will be considered
• Must have solid background, 3 years or more development with Core Java, Python, or Ruby, 
• Working knowledge  of functional programming languages and techniques is Preferred 
• Have a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Have experience with or an interest in learning: Amazon Web Services, Scala, deployment automation and microservice architectures.
• Be interested in working with advanced storage technologies such as columnar, NoSQL and MPP databases.
• If you have experience working with a globally distributed, cross functional teams, that is a PLUS
• Must be comfortable working in a collaborative environment
• Must be able to clearly communicate in English both verbally and written
