What the role is

The In-Country Purchaser will help with the works in collaboration with the country team and Procurement Global team. This position will report directly to the Senior Purchasing Manager and will help to keep updated the developments and initiatives for the team agenda under its responsibility.

What you will be doing

• Report to Development Procurement Manager

• Liaise with Interior Designer to determine FF&E design requirements

• Source FF&E items fitting design and budget guidelines

• Manage and update FF&E procurement schedules; track all purchasing from source to installation

• Handle all activities related to the bid process, requirements for quotes, processing of purchase orders and payment approvals. 

• Liaise with the Creative / Workshop departments and provide purchasing local support as necessary

• Coordinate with the Logistics department and local suppliers with project purchases and deliveries 

• Conduct product inspection where applicable  

• Provide additional support to Procurement team on other projects where necessary

What you need for the role

• Experience in a Purchasing related role

• Knowledge and understanding of purchasing, FF&E, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures

• Regional work experience required

• Strong organizational, communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced work environment

• Intermediate - advanced computer skills (spreadsheets) 

• Languages: Advanced Spanish and English

• Availability to travel
