Our client, an exciting game provider with offices in Malta, is looking for a talented Game Designer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Using your creativity to design games for a range of devices and platforms that engage and capture the imagination of the user
Understand product specifications and user psychology
Design story boards, briefs and any documentation to hand over to developers.
Develop wireframes and prototypes around the business needs.
UX research and brainstorming
Create design assets for games and marketing based on provided guidelines
Create motion design, special effects, animation, or other visual images.
Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback
Work collaboratively with others, including games developers, artists and designers
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Game Designer in Online Gaming Industry.
Strong portfolio of design projects.
Proficient in design software (e.g. Sketch, InVision, Photoshop, Zeplin)
Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus
Experience in building illustrations and game logos would be an asset
